Gallery5 Turns Four

The Marshall Street gallery has produced some wild stuff in its four years: underworld carnivals, nude art shows, exhibitions of bonsai trees. At the ripe old age of four, Gallery5 is pushing out into the community, starting up outreach and education programs. Which doesn't mean that it has forgotten how to put on a show. Gallery5 celebrates its fourth birthday with performances by some of the musicians who've been there since the beginning: Fight the Big Bull, David Shultz and the Skyline, A Roman Holiday reunion, DJs Carlito, Jennings and Reinhold; plus Sweet Tease Burlesque and, to show it's growing up a bit but not too much, a silent auction with items including a Chesapeake Bay vacation and a DJ to host one of your parties. Truly, something for everyone. The party is Saturday, April 25, 7 p.m.-midnight. $10-$15. 644-0005. — Brandon Reynolds
