It’s one of the most acclaimed documentaries of the year, probably a favorite to take home an Oscar, and Richmond gets its own free screening thanks to VAratifyERA, a campaign to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. Directed by Betsy West and Julie Cohen, the film provides an intimate portrait of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Afterward, you’ll hear from legislators working to get the General Assembly to support ratification of the amendment this year, ending with a call to action. Doors at 7 p.m., screening at 7:30 p.m. byrdtheatre.com.
