Richmond City Councilman Parker Agelasto has gotten only faster since he took office in the beginning of 2013. At least that's according to the Monument Avenue 10-K race results archives. In the March race, Agelasto completed the 6.2-mile course in a respectable 49 minutes, 41 seconds. That's down from 50:45 during his first year in office. And in 2012, when the election was still a glimmer in his eye, he clocked in at 51:09. Agelasto's the only sitting council member to attempt the race in the past four seasons, though Jon Baliles was spotted — drink in hand — on the sidelines this year. Perhaps he was rooting for his colleague?
