Evolution and Creation: Conflicting or Compatible?

When: Thu., Nov. 14, 7 p.m. 2019

Patricia H. Kelley, professor emerita of geology from UNC-Wilmington, will explore whether evolution conflicts with religious views of creation, or whether there is a valid way to reconcile the two. Kelley will also examine the Biblical creation accounts and creationist approaches such as Intelligent Design to assess the compatibility of evolution with faith-based perspectives. This event is free and open to the public. Copley Science Center, Rm. 100 (304 Caroline St.)
