“Ever Ancient, Ever New,” an Organ Recital by Joel S. Kumro

When: Sun., Feb. 10, 7 p.m. 2019

Joel S. Kumro, Choirmaster and Organist at Saint Benedict Catholic Church presents a recital of sacred and liturgical music for the organ, including works from the classical repertoire by J.S. Bach, Girolamo Frescobaldi, and Louis-Claude Daquin, along with newly composed works by Aaron David Miller, Gerald Near, Lynn Trapp, David Dahl, Mary Beth Bennett, and David Briggs. Featuring the 2-manual, 24-stop pipe organ, Opus 5, built by Pasi Organ Builders in 1996. A free-will offering will be taken up to support Saint Benedict music program. A festive reception will be held following the recital.
