Oct. 15

The problem with video games is that you play them by yourself. Sure, there may be other people you play online, but rarely are they in the same room. To experience the social bonding that once defined electrified gaming, check out Arcade Night this Saturday, Oct. 15, at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. With host the Richmond Pinball Collective, there will be vintage pinball and arcade games from the members’ private collections to re-create the sights and sounds of classic interactive entertainment. The only thing different is that you won’t need a pocket full of quarters to play — each game will be set on free play. While you button push, there will be food truck offerings and beer to consume and live music to fill your ears between battles. The family-friendly gaming session and social runs from noon-10. Free admission. hardywood.com.
