May 27-31

Life can be tricky, but as author Franz Kafka wrote in his short story from 1922, “Investigations of a Dog,” so long as you have food in your mouth, you’ve solved all questions for the time being. Running Thursday through Sunday, May 27-31, the Richmond Greek Festival at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral is our yearly confirmation of that sentiment. The always joyous celebration of the cultural arts from the birthplace of Western culture is a Richmond tradition and for good reason: The immersion in Greek food, wine, music, dancing and arts momentarily answers all the large and small questions that can complicate life with sweet and savory solutions.
