Trying to figure out where to eat is a first-world problem. In this area, most residents are overwhelmed with culinary options. To help you decide is Broad Appétit, happening Sunday, June 7, in downtown Richmond. The home-team food festival, which runs along West Broad between Henry and Adams streets, features $3 samplings from kitchens across the city. As you stroll down the street, you can shop, hear music from local performers and gaze upon art to help you digest the palate considerations. Held by the Downtown Neighborhood Association, events like these make people want to live here in the first place. Just be extra kind to all the people working the food stands — they all had to work Saturday night. The family-friendly food fest runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. broadappetit.com.
