Remember the old-school Twisted Sister video where the school kid just wants to rock? Before Thanksgiving on Thursday, plenty of former Richmonders come home to see family and friends. But when night rolls around, they usually just want to rock — or dance, or drink heavily, whatever the case may be. So they turn out in droves for the annual Fear of Music rager at the Broadberry. Expect excellent covers of Talking Heads classics and deep cuts, and a rhythmically adventurous, high-energy show. Wednesday, Nov. 23, with doors at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. thebroadberry.com.
