Need some help illuminating your holiday spirit? You can bask in the glow of half a million tiny bulbs at the Dominion GardenFest of Lights, a beloved Richmond tradition at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. A variety of activities and events are planned each night to enhance the experience, which runs through Jan. 11. Call 262-9887 or visit lewisginter.org. For more sparkle, visit the Illuminate Light Show and Santa’s Village at Meadow Event Park. Open nightly from 5:30-10, the winter wonderland features hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights synced to a radio broadcast of music, 50-foot Christmas trees, dancing snowmen, singing trees, an outdoor skating rink and visits by Santa. It runs through Jan. 2. Call 994-2800 or visit illuminatelightshow.com. If those options aren’t enough, there are always Christmas tacky-lights tours, some run by Winn Transportation. Call 358-9466 or visit winnbus.com.
