Event Pick: Dominion Gardenfest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Nov. 25 - Jan. 9

One reason people love the holiday season is that it illuminates dreary and dark winters with hopeful, colorful light. If a half-million twinkling lights, model trains, s’mores and hot chocolate sound good to you, check out the annual Dominion Gardenfest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, starting Nov. 25. The living color theme means it will be using light shows on the gorgeous grounds to explore how “the world’s kaleidoscope of colors speaks to us, impacts nature and influences culture.” The fest runs through Jan. 9, and is closed Dec. 24 and 25. Tickets cost from $5 for kids to $13 for adults. You can purchase them and learn more at lewisginter.org.
