Amy Beth Kirsten’s "Colombine’s Paradise Theatre," co-commissioned by the Modlin Center for the Arts, is a dark musical fairy tale of love and death, dream and delusion. Directed by New York choreographer Mark DeChiazza, the six musicians of the multiple Grammy-winning ensemble Eighth Blackbird play, speak, sing, whisper, growl and mime, breathing theatrical life into these rich commedia dell’arte characters.
