Re: “I'm Gonna Pray for You So Hard

Exciting, arresting theater with a PUNCH! happens in "The Basement" East Broad at North Third Street--Theatre Lab! If you're one of those people who doesn't want theatre that tickles your brain, then stay home, turn on duck dynasty or watch funny baby vids.

Re: “Chesterfield's Remarkable (and Expensive) Bike Plan

Not that Mr Connock's acknowledging this area is 40-50 years behind The Research Triangle of NC puts the best face on things or makes it OK to suggest that 50 years is a reasonable timeline. Half a century sounds more like a pipe dream than a plan. If it's truly a worthy idea, I suggest a big chunk of it could be done in less than 10 years. Props to the person who pushed the idea onto the agenda.

Re: “Virginia's Expensive 10th District Race Could Swing Control of the State Senate

So Glenn Sturtevant is "against gun violence" !!?? What a fatuous statement! How does that make him different from anyone else? Do we assume all other GOP are in favor of gun violence? This is A guy with a very small mind.

Re: “Restoration Group Draws Focus to Virginia Union's Landmark Bell Tower

Wouldn't it be a generous and proper thing for Stanford University To reunite the original bells by donating them to VUU?

Re: “Invisible Ink

The works by Womack and Roseberry are beautiful, remarkable and their high-handed unauthorized removal is unconscionable and disrespectful of the art, the artists (and what we would think would be a legally binding contract) and the viewing public, by those in control. If it is to be re-installed it should be under the supervision and at the discretion of the artists not some apparatchik ("acting chief projects manager") from a government bureau.

Re: “Blog Roundup: Eric Cantor's Celebrity Gossip, Mark Warner Visits Hardywood

I may more easily understand the inexplicability of Cantor's presence than Colin Powell's at The Apollo.
