Re: “Double-Dip Recession? Blame the Unspent Stimulus Money

The last line even states that "fears of a double dip recession are growing." That doesn't sound like it's making a definite connection. But maybe you should write the author, if you're so convinced. I don't think the burden of proof should be on me for a connection you're making in your mind. The news of the unspent funding comes as unemployment figures remain high and fears of a double-sip recession grow. Information is available at the revamped website.

Re: “Tyler to City: Give Back Money for Bus Shed

The surrounding area has developed nicely on it's own, if you look at what the following businesses have done since 2006: Acacia, Lamplighter, Fresca, the soon-to-be open restaurant Selba, CrossFit, Green House Glass, and the relatively new high end furniture consignment shop right next to Acacia. Clearly people believe in the area, and I trust a developer with the property, since strict zoning laws can keep the end product of high quality fitting to its surroundings. I couldn't agree more with Mr Tyler. As a nearby property owner, I want a real estate development company to purchase the property and work through existing zoning laws.
