Dive Team Pulls Body From Canal

But it’s not the one they were looking for.

For the past two weeks, Richmond Police have been searching for a missing Richmond man, Randall Collins, who was last seen in the Shockoe Bottom area.

On Wednesday morning, a dive team recovered a body from the nearby Kanawha Canal.

It didn’t help with their case: The medical examiner’s office determined the body wasn’t Collins.

Police say they’re now working to identify the new body.
