Re: “Feeding Tony

Kudos to Ron and his team. He has worked long and hard for this unique opportunity. As many of us know, the restaurant industry is characterized by many hopeful entrepreneurs (read: “overnight sensations") that are here today and gone tomorrow. That's not judgment; it's fact. Hospitality can be exhausting, and oftentimes you must smile when you really want to cry. Certainly there are hard workers that discover the formula for success, but the margins are slim and the lifestyle requires sacrifices. The path of permanence is paved with long hours, attention to details, and most importantly, genuine concern for your guests. Strawberry Street would not still be here if their values were skewed. They understand the business, and that is why they have this special opportunity. In the restaurant business, "cult of personality" might get the crowds in once or twice, but consistent value and service transform guests into loyal customers over the long run.
