I graduated from VCU in 1978 with a BFA in Theatrical Design. I have many fond memories of working on shows at this facility. It was adequate at the time, at least no leaking water, but it was a difficult environment to work in. All of the lighting wiring was 'old school' aluminum which really is not up to code standards of today. The booth for lighting and sound back then was a plywood and duck tape. I agree with many posts; this facility 'fer sureee' needs a much needed renovation.
