The holidays are here, my friends, and it might be time for you to learn a thing or two — such as cooking, perhaps? Here’s a selection of classes that’ll help put the jingle back into your bells. You might even impress the people you love — although some of those people will never be happy.

If the last time you made a gingerbread house was in elementary school, then you need to sharpen your skills. Stony Point’s Sur la Table has teamed with Bon Appétit Magazine to teach you some pretty spectacular-sounding dishes from its pages. You’ll learn how to make things as varied as roasted chestnuts with black pepper honey and spicy cauliflower latkes with za’atar aioli.
