Join us in our Charles Gillette Garden for a picnic and live music by Gamelan Raga Kusuma. Rain or shine! Garden opens for picnicking at 5:30 p.m. Concert begins at 6 p.m. The Kitchenette food truck will be on campus serving up delicious food! Gamelan is the prevailing traditional music of Indonesia and is an intricate blend of sonorities, structured and patterned in unique rhythmic and melodic systems. It is built largely on tuned bronze percussion, and often accompanies highly formalized dance. Learn more about Gamelan Raga Kusuma. This is a family-friendly event. Please, no alcoholic beverages.
