Into Brazilian tropicalia, ‘70s psych soul and funky romantic ballads? This four-piece from Los Angeles has played Coachella, toured with Jack White and the Alabama Shakes and just released a third album, “Freedom Is Free” on ATO Records. Not only are the members sharp dressers in matching suits and ruffled shirts, but their organ-driven grooves have been known to get young lovers in the mood. Openers Super Doppler, featuring the Monbacks on horns, are helping to redefine the soulful Norfolk sound for today’s audiences. Should be a great one-two punch. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $18 in advance, $20 at the door. capitalalehouse.com.
