"America's Favorite Flies," by Rob Carter and John Bryan, is a gathering of 224 fly fishers from across North America, each providing a favorite fly along with comments and materials. The book contains stunning photographs, approximately 100 artworks by some of North America's most beloved outdoor artists, and writings by a compelling list of participants, including President Jimmy Carter, Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, fly-fishing matriarch Joan Wulff, rock musician Huey Lewis, artist James Prosek and author Tom McGuane. Profits from the book go to the James River Association and the Native Fish Society.
