The daughter of the poet Lord Byron, Ada Lovelace has earned fame in her own right by being widely regarded as the world’s first computer programmer. R-MC Mathematics Professor Adrian Rice will give a talk proving that Lovelace had all the necessary mathematical skills to pull off this amazing feat. Women’s Studies Lecture Series event Free.
