The wall of ukuleles at Fan Guitar and Ukulele, 1308 W. Main St., has nothing on Scruffy. He’s greeted customers at John and Genie Gonzalez del Solar’s shop since they adopted him from a shelter. “I’ve been researching for about the last 18 months,” John says. “He’s the cutest dog within a hundred-block radius.” Describing him as a mix of a sheep, opossum and cat, John says Scruffy’s adorableness reaches its peak when he “squeezes himself into the tiniest soprano ukulele case.” His antics are lovingly chronicled on the shop’s Facebook page.
