Second Place: Everwilde

Third Place: Pat Russell Band

Popular cover band Honkytonk Heroes specializes in country and western music, and voters' ears seem to have perked up. And they're throwing an aw-shucks right back: "We are very pleased to be amongst the winners in this category," guitarist and vocalist Brian Fones says. "This issue has a huge effect on the perception of music-lovers and show-goers in town, so it's awesome that our fans put in their votes." Honkytonk Heroes cover the country classics, including Charlie Daniels, George Jones and Willie Nelson, as well as Nashville's current kings such as Jason Aldean. "This city has a strong country music following and I think people really enjoy the diversity in our set list," vocalist Fones says. "We can span six decades in one set, which I think sets us apart from a lot of other country bands around." Everwilde performs original songs that the band can only describe as pure country. And Pat Russell Band has spread the country vibes everywhere.
