For the fourth year in a row, Richmonders have voted Charles Terry as favorite pediatrician. But he isn't in this for the awards. Terry, the son of an internist, says he chose pediatrics because he loves kids. Soon after graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Terry joined Overton, Wiley, Kirchmier, Terry and Rowe, the practice he now leads. Terry is listed in "The Best Doctors in America," but the most telling indicator of his likeable competence might be that many of his young patients don't want to switch doctors when they grow up. J. Mark Shreve practices at Pediatric Associates of Richmond, which has two locations in the area, while G. Thomas Rowe joined Charles Terry in his practice's locations in Henrico, Richmond and Midlothian in 1991.
