He was destined to become a doctor. His father practiced internal medicine in Portsmouth, so Dr. Charles V. Terry naturally followed in his footsteps. While attending Eastern Virginia Medical School, pediatrics just seemed like the right fit. He joined his current practice — Overton, Wiley, Kirchmier, Terry & Rowe — in 1987 and now is the company's president, working out of the Ridgefield Parkway office. He wakes up blessed, he says: "I get up everyday seeing kids and going to the hospital." Dr. Mark Shreve and Dr. Warren Snead both practice at Pediatric Associates of Richmond, which has offices off of Three Chopt Road and Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville.
