To win the best overall bar in the city of Richmond it takes a great team, and that’s exactly what Southern Railway Taphouse Manager Robert Peters says he has. “It’s all of us working together efficiently to achieve our goal which is to give great service, delicious food, and at a reasonable price,” Peters says. “We work well together, like a big family, and I think that shows to our guests.” It definitely shows and has much to do with why voters chose Taphouse — a bar that’s only been open a little less than three years — as best in the city. Not to mention its dual bars, good vibe and big patio that allows you to spread out for mingling.
