Few things exemplify the scale hereabouts as well as an outing to The Diamond for a Flying Squirrels game. From the intimately sized baseball stadium, you can see the downtown skyline in the distant haze. On warm summer nights, cool breezes hit the upper stands, you bite into a hot dog and hear the crack of a bat. Just maybe, you’ll see fireworks. It is all sublime.
