First place:

Lemon Cuisine of India (Hall of Fame Winner)

3215 W. Broad St.

Second place: Lehja
Third place: Tulsi
Honorable mention: Anokha

To step off Broad Street into the tranquil dining room of Lemon Cuisine is to enter an unexpected oasis of tantalizing smells because the innocuous-looking building houses what readers consider the best Indian food in the city. Many longtime regulars discovered the wonders of northern Indian cuisine because of Lemon’s well-priced lunch menu and proceeded to add it to their regular rotation for dinner as well.

Lemon Cuisine is carrying on during the pandemic by limiting its seating to 50% and, as always, making the full menu – customizable from mild to Indian hot – available for takeout. Unlike many eateries, the hours remain the same with lunch and dinner served daily, which is good news when a craving for shrimp madras or lamb tikka masala hits.
