Unfortunately i can not get their nor can get a truck or trailer on such short notice. i sent an email to the head of parks and rec (witch you should also) and ask to give us more time to move it or cut it down to 4ft size(its 4'6" now). i have not herd a response yet . i guess we will find out at 8am.

Re: “City Ramps Down Skate Park, Which Worries Skater Dudes

first of all, the gun was pulled buy a mom who's kid (that does not skateboard) was swinging a 2x4 at a younger kid. when an older skater jumped in to save the little skater. the mom droped the gun and another skater picked it up and ran to secure it while the proper athorities came.
as for skating at midnight. its impossible to skate with out light. any is going to have lurkers at night. and if the bathrooms were ever open we would use them.
we recently received 2 big trash cans. and have asked the skaters to pick up their trash . we take pride in this park and appreciate the city and the neighborhood for allowing this to happen.
so before you go pointing the finger at someone, step back and look at what area where you live in.

thank you for your input, bernie mcgrew
