This five-week series is designed to take the worry or nerves away from your first yoga experience. This is for the absolute beginner or the student somewhat new to the practice that desires a deeper introduction. The Beginners Series provides in depth explanations of foundational yoga postures, focusing on alignment, the importance of breath, and calming the mind. The five consecutive classes with Marisa Atula will build upon each other so you may graduate feeling comfortable attending any yoga class. The series runs from Feb. 26 to March 26. Class meets every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for those five weeks.
