Re: “Bon Air Residents Petition Against Goodwill

I live within walking distance of that shop. I used to walk to Martins twice a week to buy groceries (though to be honest I hated that Martins, it was just convenient). I go to Good Foods about every other week for lunch and extras. I would LOVE to have a Goodwill there. I'd be up in that place at least once or twice a week and likely hit Good Foods and Selesti Gelatti more often as a result. No shame in my game shopping at Goodwill--it's the reason I have a killer record collection. Do I miss the convenience of a walkable grocer? Yes, but now I just do online pick up at Kroger or Walmart, both within a 6 min drive. I am tired of the tone of this conversation though, when it comes to discussions about Goodwill's "demographics." I am Goodwills demographic and have been shopping there for 15 years.
