The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School presents "Bat Boy: the Musical," based on the popular 1992 tabloid article published in the Weekly World News. The 2001 Off-Broadway production garnered many accolades including the Outer Critics Circle Award for outstanding off-Broadway musical. Labeled by the critics as a cult hit with a “peppy and melodic pop-rock score,” this musical will appeal especially to fans of science fiction.
