This workshop begins with a short asana and meditation practice and concludes with an ayurvedic cooking course, learning to use herbs and spices in the way nature intended, by exploring the elements within ourselves, our environments, and the ingredients we use for cooking! Concepts such as Ayurvedic doshas (body types), how to find your dosha, and the characteristics of 15 commonly used spices will be covered. Learn to make Ayurvedically balanced meals in this hands-on, interactive course! Materials and the five recipes made in class will be provided. Food is included and will be enjoyed at the end.
