Ayinde began playing the piano in 2008 at age 10. He quickly fell in love with the piano and jazz. In 2008, he attended Jazz Boot Camp at Richmond Youth Jazz Guild where he received his 1st formal jazz training. He continued to attend “The Guild” all the way through high school performing in the advanced ensemble, Blue Note, and the Jazz Orchestra. To date Ayinde has received full scholarships for the Berklee jazz workshop under the direction of Terri Lyne Carrington as well as the UNC jazz workshop. He was also selected for the Vail jazz workshop and is a jazz piano winner of YoungArts. Ayinde has played at many established venues including the Kennedy Center, National Sawdust, Jordan Hall, and the Berklee Performance Center.
