SO MUCH MORE TO THIS EVENT! Jump start your holidays with Christmas on MacArthur, a day of family fun that benefits Toys for Tots. So make sure to bring an unwrapped toy with you.
Festivities begin with the Santa Parade down the 4000 block of MacArthur Avenue. This years parade will feature a Number of participants including the ACCA Shriners, students of Holton Elementary School, the Virginia State Police, the Richmond Police Department, the Richmond Fire Department, U.S. Marines, YMCA Indian Princesses Cayuga and Indian Guides Waccamaw Tribes, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, St. Andrews Legion Pipe and drums and the Benedictine cadets, Alpacas, John Marshal high school marching band, Antique & Hot Rod Cars & Trucks from Still Runnin Magazine Car Club, trucks and even a trolley. And much, much more, including a visit from St. Nick who will hear kids Christmas wishes after the parade.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels own Nutzy will be there as well!
There will also be scores of vendors offering their handmade arts and crafts. Vendors interested in participating should contact Teri Phipps at Vendor@bellevueweb.org.
