Carol Friedman

Lavette is a feisty soul original and interpreter of the highest caliber. Since the early 1960s she recorded albums on Atlantic, Epic and Motown, before her career resurgence began in the early 2000s. Joined by keyboardist Alan Hill in Richmond, she’ll be tackling songs by Bob Dylan from her new album of his work, “Times Have Changed.” Expect the occasional chill flurry. Show at 8 p.m. $42.50-$47.50. tinpanrva.com.
