Re: “People Power

Would this bill only pertain to Civil War memorials or memorials for all wars?

Re: “An Uncertain Halt

So if you are a resident of RRHA public housing and you are working to pay your rent on time each month and you see your neighbors being less fiscally responsible yet they will no longer suffer the consequences and do not face being evicted, then what is your incentive to continue to do the right thing and pay your rent on time as per the terms of your lease?

Re: “The Mindfulness Room

Well lets see. In this same issue of style we have the latest reports of nepotism within city hall operations.
We also know that currently RPS is paying more for school construction per square foot than surrounding school systems due to the type of bidding process they are using.
We know that RPS has a history of not taking care of its facilities
We know that RPS has some of the highest truancy levels in the commonwealth.
We know that RPS has multiple levels of bureaucracy within its structure.
And we know that Kamras is all about equity, even if it means equity in failure.

Using know facts from recent media reports regarding RPS, and its overall history of being an unmitigated disaster, I applied that past history to this new endeavor from RPS, not to mention some additional sarcasm to make my point.

Re: “The Mindfulness Room

So RPS has done such a great job educating the children of Richmond they are now going to get into the yoga business?

Yoga program will require 4 levels of administration at Central Office, including several relatives of one another.
RPS will pay $53 for $25 yoga mats.
The yoga mats will be destroyed after 3 weeks of use.
Truancy level for yoga classes will be 63%
After 1 year of the program, Supt Kamras will decry inequities in meditation levels and demand a tax increase and yoga mat reassignments to fix diversity issues.

Re: “OPINION: Ongoing Problems

Stoney's solution to this problem is the only solution he knows for all other problems with government - raise taxes.
