Re: “Getting a Handle

Nothing about the article, the accompanying flag photo. As world travelers look up to locate their welcoming flag, they may come to realize that they are underneath a freeway overpass in a really nasty looking place. What are we thinking?
There wasn't a more attractive, open, and welcoming place?

And, all good reasons not to have a Joe Morrissey monument.

I think they should have made the Arthur Ashe Swatting Children with his Tennis Raquet monument the big turn.

Re: “City Deal With Stone Brewing Finalized

And, of course, it's already over budget. With all the controversy, I tried the beer. It's not that good. None of our locals have anything the worry about.

Re: “The Next Stone?

Dudes, I love beer. Unfortunately our administration does not have the financial savvy to wring a profit out of these schemes. The most recent, the Redskins training camp, is a financial quagmire. We may never know how much it costs. It is not about how we feel about beer, football, baseball, or bike races, it is about financial result. If we do not have the financial sophistication to quantify results, we have no business entering into to these fantastical deals.
