The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia and the GreenSpring International Academy of Music jointly present the Thalea String Quartet in "1828 and 1955: Schubert and DBR," a musical portrait of two extraordinary people at history-making times in their lives. In 1828, Franz Schubert gave the only public concert of his own works and wrote some of his most famous pieces. In 1955, the esteemed activist Rosa Parks sparked the Civil Rights Movement.
