The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia and the GreenSpring International Academy of Music present “1828 & 1955: Schubert and DBR,” a musical portrait of two extraordinary people at history-making times in their lives - Rosa Parks and Franz Schubert. The award-winning Thalea String Quartet joins cellist Britton Riley to perform Schubert’s majestic Cello Quintet in C major, D.956; and String Quartet no. 5 (“Parks”) by violinist/composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (aka DBR).
