A closer look at the works of the Richmond Mural Project.
The Washington-based gallery Art Whino brought the Richmond Mural Project back to town this summer.
Organizers launched the project last year with two goals: to give internationally recognized mural artists the space to practice their craft and to turn the city into a destination for street art.
This year, 11 artists created 23 towering murals. We chronicled the results.
