Dec. 10 Agecroft Hall’s annual Christmas Open House takes place, showing Richmonders how Christmas was done centuries ago. Features a walk-through tour of an English manor decorated in the style of the 16th and 17th centuries, 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. More or Less Morris Dancers perform dances of the day in the courtyard, and refreshments are served on the lawn. Visit The Museum of the Confederacy, decorated as the Davis family might have during Christmas, for a special holiday season celebration as it opens its doors to the public, noon-5:00 p.m. Admission to the Museum will be free, and, for the first time since it was restored in 1988, free guided tours of the famous White House of the Confederacy will be available.
