For customers whose basics include black turtlenecks, simple slacks, Italian flats and scarves, Smith wants Peyton Hall to provide finishing touches and pieces that acknowledge trends without victimizing the person wearing the clothes.
She’ll provide personal shopping services and deliver the items so customers can try them on at home. She’s scheduling evening trunk shows, drafting a flexible return policy, setting up image consulting — in short, putting together “a lot of personal services so that someone could come in here and get a little high-end treatment,” Smith says.
The store is scheduled to open at 3409 W. Cary St. in late September.
