The National has been busy updating their webpage lately.
Among the big 2016 shows recently announced: Metal fans will be stoked to hear that Slayer is performing with Testament and Carcass on Wednesday, Feb. 24 (a few weeks earlier, Tesla performs on Feb.19). We didn’t get the Melvins/Napalm Death tour, but what the hey.
Favorites Lake Street Dive return with openers the Suffers on Saturday, March 19 for what will surely be a sold-out show. Check out the video below of the last time they came to the National.
Southern rock fans will be pleased as punch to hear that legend Gregg Allman is still kicking and will be performing on Sunday, April 10. Another show that should be impressive is Rhiannon Giddens (Carolina Chocolate Drops) on Wed. April 13.
