Even Tastemakers can’t escape Super Bowl fever, and we were wondering what would be the best recommendation to give our readers looking to escape the home and cheer with a crowd for their favorite team. With four locations, one at almost every point around town, Mulligan’s Sports Grille is a sure bet. Each location — the Fan, Midlothian, Mechanicsville and the far West End — offers a Super Bowl party this Sunday, with prize giveaways, games, specials, and TVs — plenty of TVs. The shepherd’s pie, beef stew over pasta and pita pizzas look too good to pass up. 203 N. Foushee St. Havana ’59’s menu has a little more spice, too.
