Moonshine is getting kind of popular again. The state sold $3.7 million of the taxed kind in its liquor stores last year — raw corn liquor, sometimes put in mason jars with cute labels. Belle Isle Craft Spirits broke ground and its 100-percent organic corn moonshine is sipped at restaurants across town. And the illegal stuff is still going strong, too. State agents, colloquially referred to as revenuers, made 50 moonshine-related arrests during the same time period.
