Metro Bar & Grill Gets a Makeover

You'll see changes next week at the Fan favorite.

A new partner and a new look are coming to Metro Bar & Grill on Robinson Street. Joey McCullough has joined forces with owner Kevin Mandeville to refurbish and reboot the longtime Fan restaurant. Mandeville began working at Metro nearly 10 years ago as a general manager and has been a partner in the business for three years.

“[Mandeville’s] two previous business partners were looking to move on,” McCullough says, “and I was searching to either start or buy into a restaurant if there was an opportunity.”

The changes that customers will see when Metro opens back up next week will mostly be aesthetic, he says. The layout will stay the same, but they’re switching up the color palette and installing a new bar. You won’t see drastic differences on the menu, but the food will gradually get an update during the next few months. Expect a new logo and branding too.

“The feel will always be Metro,” McCullough says. “However, we’re giving it a fresh look and a positive new direction.”
