Louis C.K. is a fortunate fellow. After writing box office bombs such as “Pootie Tang” and “Down To Earth,” he was still given the chance to script the somewhat successful “I Think I Love My Wife.” After HBO cancelled his cutting edge sitcom, “Lucky Louie,” he stayed in its good graces and the network aired his stand-up special “Shameless” in 2006; another is scheduled for October. You'd think a comedian with this many breaks wouldn't have material laced with bitterness and self-loathing. … and that it wouldn't be so hilarious. The comedian comes to the University of Richmond's Camp Concert Hall Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. The audience will be the lucky ones. $10-$15. 289-8980.
