While weeping gleefully at old videos of Gwar on Youtube (“The Gwarchive,” Fall Arts Preview, Sept.11), it occurred to me that some place in Richmond ought to have a drink called a Sleazy P. Martini, in honor of Gwar’s legendary manager. If anyone can tell me this, I thought Jack Lauterback of “Punch Drunk” must be the man.

Editor’s note: A few days after you wrote, Calendar Editor Chris Bopst, who happens to be a co-founder of Gwar, commissioned bartender Sean Rapoza to create just such a drink for a Gwar record-release party last week at Balliceaux, where Bopst is a promoter. So ask Rapoza for a Sleazy P. Martini next time you’re there. It’s made with: vodka, blood orange liqueur, fresh lime and blood orange syrup.
